Our environment contains large amounts of contamination, both gaseous and
particulate. However, the application of clean rooms pertains primarily to the problem of
airborne particulate contamination control. Thus, the removal and elimination of these
contaminants within clean areas has become critical to ensure high-yield and efficient
production for many advanced precision manufacturing processes and technologies.
